From the hundreds, possibly thousands, of contenders in markets across the globe, Mike and the team assess each to see if it has the potential to be voted World Car of the Year.

Over the next four weeks, Mike will present his expert assessment of the leading contenders in various categories. First up is Jaguar’s sublime XF saloon, which is a contender in the category of Best Design.
