Michelle Obama's Inauguration OutfitMichelle Obama's Inauguration Outfit Gathers Mixed Reviews...

The fashion choices of Michelle Obama, America's new first lady continue to remain under the scanner. A red-and-black dress worn by her at Barack Obama’s victory speech in November 2008 drew adverse remarks from many fashion experts. Now her Inauguration outfits managed to both win and loose admiration simultaneously.

Mrs Obama's choice of outfit underscored her reputation as a fashion individual with a strong sense of personal style. She chose a pale gold dress, matched with a coat made of Swiss wool lace, lined with French silk - a scintillating, pale-gold embossed coat with a matching shift dress which featured a sparkling geometric, diamanté neckline, and cardigan, by one of her favourite designers, Cuban-American designer Isabel Toledo.

She accessorised the ensemble with leather gloves and a pair of British luxury brand, Jimmy Choo shoes, the 'Glacier' patent leather pumps in a striking shade of green.
