According to Forbes.com, Bundchen, the 29-year-old who is married to American football player Tom Brady, earned $25 million (£17m) last year. Klum, the 36-year-old mother of four and host of the television show Project Runway, came in second with $16 million (£11m) in earnings, followed by style icon Moss, also 36, who made $9 million (£6m), through modelling campaigns, her clothing range for Topshop, and her perfume.
Steve Bertoni of Forbes said that "the dominance of Bundchen, Klum and Moss is largely due to a risk-averse fashion industry that was not looking for new faces in the unstable economic climate".
