London Fashion Week

London Fashion Week – London Fashion Week started yesterday, overlapping with the last day of New York Fashion Week.
London Fashion Week is celebrating its 25th year and the British Fashion Council has announced it will be its last at its current base – the Natural History Museum.
Instead, designers will be showing off their spring/summer 2010 collections at Somerset House, central London.
A colourful circus-themed catwalk show, from designer Ashish Gupta, livened up a low-key start to London Fashion Week.
Irish designer Paul Costelloe, who admitted he is seen as a “safe bet” in fashion circles, raised the stakes with some flamboyant collars.
Costelloe’s models also showed off his collection of flared dresses and coats.
There were also shows from Caroline Charles, Noir/Bllack Noir, Eun Jeong and estethica, the world’s leading showcase of ethical fashion.
