Admirers of the bandana headband which RiRi wore during her X Factor performance last weekend will be pleased to hear that a similarly styled belt also features in the collection.

The Shop Direct Group owns the renowned online department store Very.co.uk and this particular label is just one of many successful stores owned by the brand.

However, in order to establish them as the ultimate shopping experience and to target the younger and trendier market, they decided to employ the help of two very specific brand ambassadors.

Both Fearne Cotton and Holly Willoughby are the labels’ current brand ambassadors and have in fact designed collections for the online department store. Diana Vickers Launches Retro Dee V Clothing Line – Diana Vickers is an English singer-songwriter and stage actress who initially came to public attention as a semi-finalist on the fifth series of British talent show The X Factor in 2008.

The 1960s-inspired fashion collection will be exclusive to online fashion site Very. It incorporates floral prints and pastel shades and includes a vintage-style bird print dress, wide leg jeans, and floral shift with pink collar.

“Diana is emerging as a style icon and has bought her unique sense of style into her first ever fashion collection,” says Dan Rubel, Brand Director of Very.co.uk.

Night Bra that Fights Wrinkles Launched – Called La Decollette, the bra’s inventor, Rachel de Boer, a former real estate agent, said it worked for her by preventing wrinkles developing and her breasts from sagging.

Just read an interesting article by Carola Long, Deputy Fashion Editor of the Independent newspaper, UK entitled: Return of the Mac as a Fashion Icon – Conceived almost 200 years ago by a Glasgow chemist with an interest in rubber and turned into a fashion icon by stars such as Audrey Hepburn and Steve McQueen, the Mackintosh became the venerable British brand that lost its way. Next week, it seals a remarkable comeback with its first stand-alone store.

According to the Guardian newspaper, just before Christmas, BBC Breakfast challenged Mary Jane Baxter to make a wedding dress for a tenner (£10). She nearly choked on her cereal! How on earth was she going to produce a stylish outfit for less than the cost of a slap-up brunch?
