Fabulous Fabergé Returns to London after nearly a century away. The Queen is one of its customers, owning a vast collection of irreplaceable treasures. So it seems apt that Russian jeweller Fabergé has made a return to the UK capital after nearly a century.
Fabulous Fabergé Returns to London – Famed for its intricate enameled Easter eggs, the luxury goods company has opened a store in the heart of Mayfair. Sporting a striking lilac and gold exterior the new showroom is already attracting attention and is the second Fabergé boutique to open in the world since 1917.
Fabulous Fabergé Returns to London – Founded in St Petersburg in 1842 by Gustav Fabergé, the company became world famous, winning the favour of the Imperial Romanov family in the 1880’s. Fabergé first opened in London in 1906 at 48 Dover Street, moving to Bond Street in 1910, where it was frequented by royalty, socialites and connoisseurs. But due to the repatriation of Russian resources at the beginning of World War I, the last London store was closed in 1915.
