The Queen is one of its customers, owning a vast collection of irreplaceable treasures. So it seems apt that Russian jeweller Fabergé has made a return to the UK capital after nearly a century.</p>
<p><strong>Fabulous Fabergé Returns to London</strong> &#8211; Famed for its intricate enameled Easter eggs, the luxury goods company has opened a store in the heart of Mayfair. Sporting a striking lilac and gold exterior the new showroom is already attracting attention and is the second Fabergé boutique to open in the world since 1917.</p>
<p><em>Fabulous Fabergé Returns to London</em> &#8211; Founded in St Petersburg in 1842 by Gustav Fabergé, the company became world famous, winning the favour of the Imperial Romanov family in the 1880’s. Fabergé first opened in London in 1906 at 48 Dover Street, moving to Bond Street in 1910, where it was frequented by royalty, socialites and connoisseurs. But due to the repatriation of Russian resources at the beginning of World War I, the last London store was closed in 1915.</p>

<h1>Champagne Perrier-Jouët 200th Anniversary Celebrations Continue</h1>
</p>
<p>Following Perrier-Jouët&#8217;s historic 2009 tasting which included the world&#8217;s oldest champagne Perrier-Jouët 1825 Vintage, Chef de Caves Hervé Deschamps was keen to explore a different dimension of the House&#8217;s cellars through a jeroboam tasting of 9 outstanding House vintages dating back to 1975, the year Perrier-Jouët introduced vintage champagne in jeroboam.</p>
<p>Hervé Deschamps explains: &#8220;the jeroboam is the traditional symbol of celebration in Champagne and our 200th anniversary was the perfect occasion to explore how these great vintages have evolved in larger bottles. Jeroboams offer an exceptional but slightly different experience from standard bottles, as a lower pressure together with a longer ageing on the lees gives rise to a more intense and richer aromatic wine.&#8221;</p>

<h2>Champagne Perrier-Jouët 200th Anniversary Celebrations Continue</h2>
</p>
<p>After toasting the Perrier-Jouët &#8216;s bicentenary with a glass of the legendary 1911 vintage in magnum, guests were served jeroboams of Belle Epoque 1998, 1996, 1995, 1990, 1989, 1985, 1982, 1978, and 1975. The blend of these Cuvees remained the same, true to the Perrier-Jouët&#8217;s signature style, made of 50% Chardonnay from Grands Crus as Cramant &#038; Avize, 45% of Pinot Noir from Mailly, Verzy, Verzenay and 5% Pinot Meunier from Dizy.</p>
<p>British wine expert Serena Sutcliffe MW commented: &#8220;What&#8217;s interesting with Jeroboams is that the wine presents better, as the senses are less dominated by the carbonic gas. One finds more &#8216;vinosity&#8217; and greater roundness: I was delighted to discover the wine itself.&#8221;</p>

<h3>Champagne Perrier-Jouët 200th Anniversary Celebrations Continue</h3>
</p>
<p>The 1985 and 1975 vintages were hailed as highlights; with the jeroboam of Belle Epoque 1985 recorded by one expert as &#8220;simply sensational with a long life ahead&#8221; and the 1975 vintage described as &#8220;the ultimate expression and achievement of Belle Epoque; mellow, harmonious, and with an incredible sweetness.&#8221;</p>
<p>All the champagnes tasted were the creation of André Baveret and Hervé Deschamps, only the sixth and seventh cellar masters respectively in the 200-year history of Perrier-Jouët and their achievement in balancing perfectly the diversity of each vintage&#8217;s individual character with Perrier-Jouët signature style, as a tribute of an expertise passed on over two centuries.</p>

<p>French cosmetics company Lancôme have unveiled Emma Watson as the latest face of the brand. The latest brand to  secure a bit of Watson &#8216;magic&#8217; is French cosmetics company Lancôme who announced today that they have signed her as an &#8216;ambassadress&#8217;. Watson takes her place alongside Lancôme&#8217;s other brand ambassadors Julia Roberts, Penélope Cruz and Kate Winslet, in a campaign rumoured to be being shot by leading fashion photographer Mario Testino.</p>
<p><strong>Emma Watson is Lancôme&#8217;s Latest &#8216;Ambassadress&#8217;</strong> &#8211; The advertisement was directed by renowned fashion photographer Mario Testino, who captured Watson as the face of Burberry for the label&#8217;s autumn/winter 2009 and spring/summer 2010 campaigns.</p>
<p>&#8220;Thanks to her charm, romanticism and her incredible modernity, Emma Watson has become the icon of her generation. We are delighted by this new collaboration with Emma who brings a fresh spirit to Lancôme&#8221;, said Youcef Nabi, president of Lancôme International.</p>

The five limited-edition designs, on sale from Monday, are based on paintings made for the cover of Kanye&#8217;s My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy album.</p>
<p><strong>Kanye West Launches Risque Line of Scarf Designs</strong> &#8211; Artist George Condo&#8217;s original work for the album cover, which featured a nude portrait of the artist with a female beast on top of him, was allegedly banned from stores last autumn for being too racy. Instead, Kanye decided to print the image in silk, along with four other design commissions based on his musical fantasies.</p>
<p>The star named them Power, Phoenix, Face, Priest and Ballerina, and each is set in a frame of gold lettering created by the M/M (Paris) team. Only 100 of each scarf will be made, and will be sold exclusively through M/M (Paris)’s website, and at French boutique Colette for 250€ ($364).</p>
