Sports Illustrated Swimsuit 2009
Sports Illustrated Swimsuit 2009 has revealed that 23-year-old Israeli model Bar Refaeli is this year’s cover girl.
This is the first cover of the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit edition for Refaeli, although she did appear in the inset of the 2007 edition. The photo shoot for the cover took place on Canouan Island in the Grenadines.
The Sports Illustrated Swimsuit magazine is considered the most popular issue of any magazine on the planet. It is published annually by Sports Illustrated and features fashion models wearing swimwear in exotic locales. Inclusion in this magazine is usually considered a benchmark by which supermodels are measured.
First published in 1964, it is credited with making the bikini, invented in 1946, a legitimate piece of apparel.
