Mischa Anne Marsden Barton is an English film, television, and stage actress, best known for her role as Marissa Cooper in the American television series The O.C.

She is the latest celebrity to pose nude for the cover of a major mainstream magazine and appears naked on the cover of Cosmopolitan UK with the blaring cover line, “Your Body Rocks!”

Nearly a year after enduring criticism about her sudden weight gain-turned-weight loss, Barton stripped down for the May cover of U.K. Cosmopolitan magazine.

Barton faced jeers last year after photos of the once-waify actress surfaced, exposing some cellulite on her thighs.

“Surely there are more important issues than if someone has cellulite?” she said. “And I don’t understand the point of people looking for bad things. Why bother? I know it’s human nature to want to pick on other people, but I find it a little shallow.”

The starlet reportedly went from a sumptuous size 12 to a size 6 or 8 in less than a year.

She said.

“The only way to be happy and be a more enjoyable person to be around is to embrace what you’ve got. Everyone has issues about their body, but I feel confident now. I’m healthy and happy,”
