The worlds of fashion, film and music descended on New York for the annual annual MET Costume Institute Gala 2009.

According to some press reports:

Kate Moss looked every inch the glamour goddess. Madonna showed up in a Louis Vuitton mini, leather zip-up, lace-up, thigh-high platform boots and her hair in a bun on the top of her head. Stella McCartney, the fashion designer, never looked sexier.

But according to some other press reports I have read, Madonna, Rihanna and Stella McCartney led the worst dressed at fashion’s big night out.
