25th London Fashion Week

25th London Fashion Week – London Fashion Week is 25 years old this year and this season has gone truly global, both in terms of the audience of international press and buyers and the catwalk shows they will watch.

Big brands, iconic names and rising stars Burberry, Pringle, Matthew Williamson, Antonio Berardi, Jonathan Saunders, Clements Ribeiro are just some of the home-comers, returning to the LFW catwalk to mark the quarter-century. Well-known names include Betty Jackson, John Rocha, Julien Macdonald, Margaret Howell and Jasper Conran, together with the ‘hot’ tickets, such as Christopher Kane, Marios Schwab, Richard Nicoll, Erdem, Mark Fast and Mary Katrantzou.

This season’s LFW features a total of 59 catwalk shows over six days, the first full menswear catwalk programme, 200 ready-to-wear and accessory exhibitors, including 28 companies showing under the Monsoon-sponsored, eco-friendly ‘estethica’ showcase, 17 rising stars in the Topshop-sponsored NewGen project and 13 in the Lingerie Collective.
